Watershed has assisted Flowtech Fluidpower on employment law and managing people since 2010. We work closely with the Human Resources Director and line managers to assist with complicated issues so they can concentrate on managing the business.
In November 2019, following a business review, several changes were proposed at sites in England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands, including site closures and potential redundancies as well as relocation and redeployment of staff members. Watershed assisted Flowtech Fluidpower:
- to understand the overall restructuring programme and prepare the overall plan for the HR aspects
- to prepare the relevant announcement, consultation and communication timetables.
In December 2020, we provided the company with face-to-face and remote management training, which included topics such as:
- Managing change.
- Leading your team to success.
- Communication skills.
- Personal development and self-management.
Examples of our other work include:
- reviewing the company standard operating instructions
- conducting a HR audit
- supporting the recruitment of the Human Resources Director
- supporting the company with people management issues in England, Northern Ireland, Ireland and the Netherlands
- providing an interim operational and transformational specialist.
